Ingredients
- 1/2 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1/2 lb imitation crab or real crab meat
- 1 cup scallops (optional)
- 2 cups cooked pasta or rice
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish.
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute to form a roux.
Gradually add the milk and heavy cream, whisking continuously until the sauce thickens.
Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Add the shrimp and scallops to the sauce and cook for a few minutes until just starting to turn opaque.
Remove from heat and gently fold in the crab meat and cooked pasta or rice.
Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Top with shredded cheese and parmesan.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
