Low-Carb Ham Bombs
These Low-Carb Ham Bombs are the perfect bite-sized snack—crispy on the outside, cheesy and savory on the inside. Packed with ham and melted cheese, they’re ideal for keto diets, quick appetizers, or satisfying cravings without the carbs.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 oz cream cheese
- 3/4 cup almond flour
- 1 egg
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave for about 60–90 seconds, stirring halfway through, until fully melted and smooth.
Add the almond flour, egg, garlic powder, and baking powder to the melted cheese mixture. Mix thoroughly until a soft dough forms. You may need to knead it slightly with your hands once it cools enough to handle.
Fold in the diced ham, ensuring it is evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Divide the dough into small portions and roll into bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and firm on the outside.
Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
Serving Suggestions
Serve warm as a snack or appetizer. They pair well with low-carb dips like ranch, mustard, or garlic aioli.
These ham bombs are cheesy, flavorful, and incredibly easy to make—perfect for anyone looking for a low-carb treat without sacrificing taste.
