Brownie Bread is the perfect combination of two favorites: the rich, fudgy texture of brownies and the sliceable convenience of quick bread. It bakes up with a crackly top, a moist chocolate center, and deep cocoa flavor in every bite. Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or chunks

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Pan and Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a standard loaf pan or line it with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

Step 2: Mix the Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until everything is evenly blended and free of lumps.

Step 3: Combine the Sugars and Butter

In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter until smooth.
Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
Stir in the vanilla extract.

Step 4: Bring the Batter Together

Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients.

Let the brownie bread cool in the pan for about 15 minutes.
Lift it out using the parchment overhang and transfer it to a cooling rack.
