Sliced Baked Potatoes – Just 4 Ingredients

A simple, affordable, and delicious side dish made with only four pantry staples. These potatoes come out crispy on the edges, soft inside, and full of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold work best)
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Wash and peel the potatoes if desired. Slice each potato into even 1/4-inch thick rounds.
  3. Spread the potato slices in a single layer in your baking dish. Do not overlap them too much or they won’t crisp properly.
  4. Brush the tops generously with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake for 30–40 minutes, flipping the slices halfway through, until the potatoes are golden and crispy on the edges and tender in the center.
  6. Serve hot as a side dish with dinner, or enjoy on their own with your favorite dipping sauce.
