This Old-Fashioned Bubblegum Cloud Fudge is a fun, nostalgic sweet that looks like a fluffy candy dream and tastes just as delightful. Smooth, creamy, and lightly flavored with classic bubblegum, it’s perfect for parties, bake sales, or whenever you want a playful throwback treat.
Ingredients
- 2½ cups granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ⅔ cup evaporated milk
- 1 jar (7 oz / 200 g) marshmallow crème
- 12 oz (340 g) white chocolate chips
- 1 tsp bubblegum flavoring
- Pink food coloring (as needed)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Prepare the pan
Line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the sides for easy removal. Lightly grease the paper. - Cook the sugar mixture
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, butter, and evaporated milk. Stir constantly until the butter melts and the mixture comes to a rolling boil. Continue boiling for 4–5 minutes, stirring nonstop to prevent burning. - Add marshmallow and chocolate
Remove the saucepan from heat. Quickly stir in the marshmallow crème, white chocolate chips, salt, and bubblegum flavoring. Mix until completely smooth and creamy. - Color and pour
Add a few drops of pink food coloring and stir until you reach a soft, cloud-like pink shade. Pour the fudge evenly into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula. - Set the fudge
Let the fudge cool at room temperature for about 1 hour, then refrigerate for 2–3 hours, or until fully set. - Slice and serve
Lift the fudge out using the parchment paper, cut into small squares, and serve.
✨ Tip: For extra “cloud” charm, top with pastel sprinkles before the fudge sets. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
