Crunchy, savory, and dangerously snackable
Everything Bagel Bits are the perfect little bites when you’re craving that classic everything-bagel flavor without committing to a full bagel. Toasted to golden perfection and coated in a buttery seasoning mix, these crunchy bits are ideal for snacking, soups, salads, or party bowls.
Ingredients
4 plain bagels, cut into 1-inch cubes
3 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
3 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
Slice the bagels into bite-sized cubes, keeping the pieces as even as possible so they toast uniformly. Spread the bagel cubes out on the baking sheet in a single layer.
Drizzle the olive oil or melted butter evenly over the bagel pieces. Using clean hands or a spoon, toss the cubes until they are well coated and lightly glossy.
Sprinkle the everything bagel seasoning evenly over the bagel cubes. Toss again to ensure the seasoning sticks to all sides.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the bits are golden brown and crisp. The centers should be dry and crunchy, not soft.
Remove from the oven and allow the bagel bits to cool completely on the baking sheet. They will continue to crisp as they cool.
Serve as a snack or use as a crunchy topping for soups, salads, or dips.
Tips
Day-old bagels crisp up best.
Let the bits cool fully for maximum crunch.
Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
