Crockpot Candy

Crockpot candy is a classic no-fuss treat made with just a few ingredients and almost no hands-on work. The slow cooker gently melts everything together, creating clusters of chocolate, peanuts, and creamy sweetness that are perfect for holidays, gift trays, or anytime candy cravings.

Ingredients

Dry roasted peanuts 16 ounces
Salted peanuts 16 ounces
Semi-sweet chocolate chips 12 ounces
Milk chocolate chips 12 ounces
White chocolate chips or almond bark 12 ounces

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the slow cooker
Lightly spray the inside of your crockpot with nonstick cooking spray or line it with a slow cooker liner for easy cleanup.

Step 2: Add ingredients
Pour the dry roasted peanuts and salted peanuts into the crockpot and spread them out evenly. Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, and white chocolate chips evenly over the peanuts. Do not stir at this stage.

Step 3: Melt slowly
Cover the crockpot with the lid. Cook on low heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Avoid using high heat, as it can scorch the chocolate. After about 1 hour, check the mixture. When the chocolate looks glossy and mostly melted, it is ready to stir.

Step 4: Stir until smooth
Remove the lid and stir gently but thoroughly until all the chocolate is completely melted and evenly coats the peanuts. If needed, continue heating on low for an additional 15 to 20 minutes, stirring once.

Step 5: Form candy clusters
Line baking sheets with parchment paper or wax paper. Using a spoon, drop small clusters of the candy mixture onto the paper. Work quickly before the candy starts to set.

Step 6: Let set
Allow the candy to cool and harden at room temperature for about 1 hour, or place it in the refrigerator for faster setting.

Step 7: Store and serve
Once set, peel the candy clusters off the paper and store them in an airtight container.

Tips
You can add mini marshmallows, crushed pretzels, or toffee bits after stirring for extra texture.
Store at room temperature for up to 2 weeks or refrigerate for longer freshness.
This candy makes great gifts when packaged in small bags or tins.
