Ingredients

  • 1 medium beetroot, cooked and peeled
  • 1½ cups milk (dairy or plant-based)

  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Beetroot
Boil, steam, or roast the beetroot until fork-tender. Allow it to cool slightly, then peel and chop into small pieces.

Step 2: Blend Until Smooth
Add the chopped beetroot and milk to a blender. Blend on high until completely smooth and creamy. For an ultra-smooth drink, strain the mixture through a fine sieve.

Step 3: Warm the Milk
Pour the blended beetroot milk into a small saucepan. Heat gently over low to medium heat, stirring occasionally. Do not let it boil.
