Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (whole berry or homemade)
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella or white cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the oven and dish
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
  2. Make the creamy base
In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and spreadable.
  3. Assemble the dip
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Spoon the cranberry sauce over the top and gently spread.
  4. Add toppings
Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the cranberry layer. Top with chopped nuts if using. For a sweeter touch, sprinkle lightly with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Bake
Bake uncovered for 18–22 minutes, until the dip is hot and bubbly and the cheese is melted.
  6. Serve warm
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

✨ Tip: Serve with buttery crackers, sliced baguette, or apple slices for a festive touch.
