- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar

- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup milk
- Oil, for frying
Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add the milk gradually and stir until smooth ā the batter should be thick but pourable. - Add onions:
Stir the sliced onions into the batter, coating them well. - Fry:
Heat about ½ inch of oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Drop spoonfuls of the onion mixture into the hot oil and flatten slightly.
Fry until golden brown on both sides (about 2ā3 minutes per side). - Drain and serve:
Remove fritters and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot ā plain or with your favorite dipping sauce (like ranch or spicy mayo).
Tips
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of black pepper or garlic powder to the batter.
- These taste best fresh and crispy, but you can reheat them in the oven to restore crunch.
