A church potluck classic — only 4 ingredients! I end up making it nearly every week because my friends won’t let it miss a gathering.

This 4-Ingredient Cheesy Pull-Apart Potluck Casserole is a quick, crowd-pleasing dish that’s perfect for gatherings or a simple weeknight dinner. Soft, buttery bread is layered with gooey cheese, making it irresistible and easy to serve.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of refrigerated pull-apart bread or a round of dinner rolls
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite melting cheese)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

Step 2: Prepare the Bread

If using a loaf, cut it into small squares or separate the rolls from a pack. Arrange the bread pieces in the prepared baking dish.

Step 3: Layer with Cheese

Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the bread pieces. Make sure to get cheese between layers if using pull-apart bread.

Step 4: Add Butter and Seasoning

In a small bowl, combine melted butter and garlic powder. Drizzle evenly over the bread and cheese.

Step 5: Bake

Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden and slightly crispy on top.

Step 6: Serve

Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve warm so guests can pull apart the cheesy layers easily.

This simple, cheesy casserole is perfect for potlucks, brunch, or as a comforting side dish.
