Cranberry Pecan Cheese Ball

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (plus extra for coating)
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional, for a touch of sweetness)

Instructions:

  1. Mix the base: In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  2. Add the mix-ins: Stir in the chopped cranberries, pecans, green onions, and honey if using.
  3. Shape the ball: Transfer the mixture to a piece of plastic wrap. Gather the wrap around the mixture and shape it into a ball. Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours, or until firm.
  4. Coat the ball: Before serving, roll the cheese ball in additional chopped pecans (you can mix in some dried cranberries for color).
  5. Serve: Place on a serving platter with crackers, pretzels, or sliced baguette.

Pro Tip: For extra flavor, toast the pecans before using—they’ll add a delicious nutty crunch and make your cheese ball stand out at any party.
