Sweet, salty, crunchy, and completely irresistible — these no-bake peanut butter pretzel clusters combine creamy peanut butter, crunchy pretzels, and rich chocolate into bite-sized treats that come together in minutes. Perfect for holiday trays, lunchbox treats, game-day snacks, or whenever a sweet-and-salty craving strikes, these clusters deliver the perfect balance of texture and flavor in every bite.
INGREDIENTS
• 2 cups mini pretzel twists, roughly broken
• 1 cup creamy peanut butter
• 0.5 cup honey or light corn syrup
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter
• 0.25 cup chopped peanuts (optional)
• Flaky sea salt for garnish (optional)
STEPS
- Prepare a baking sheet: Line a baking sheet, tray, or large plate with parchment paper. Make sure there is enough space for the clusters to chill without touching each other.
- Make the peanut butter mixture: In a microwave-safe bowl combine the peanut butter and honey. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and easily pourable. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Add the pretzels: Fold the broken pretzel pieces into the peanut butter mixture until evenly coated. Add the chopped peanuts if using and stir gently to combine.
- Form the clusters: Using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop, drop mounds of the mixture onto the prepared parchment-lined tray. Leave a little space between each cluster.
- Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Heat in 20-second intervals, stirring each time, until completely melted and smooth.
- Coat the clusters: Drizzle or spoon the melted chocolate over each pretzel cluster, covering as much or as little as desired. For fully coated clusters, dip each mound into the chocolate before placing it back onto the tray.
- Chill to set: Sprinkle lightly with flaky sea salt if desired. Refrigerate for 30–45 minutes or until the chocolate is fully set and the clusters are firm.
- Serve and enjoy: Once chilled, transfer the clusters to a serving platter or airtight container and enjoy straight from the refrigerator or at room temperature.
NOTES
Tips: Creamy peanut butter creates the smoothest texture, but crunchy peanut butter can be used for even more crunch. Breaking the pretzels into uneven pieces helps create attractive clusters with plenty of texture. Coconut oil gives the chocolate a smoother finish and helps it set with a glossy appearance. For extra flavor, add mini marshmallows, toffee bits, crushed candy bars, or white chocolate drizzle after coating. These treats are ideal for make-ahead entertaining because they require no baking and store beautifully. Keep them refrigerated during warm weather to maintain their shape. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 2 months. Their combination of salty pretzels, creamy peanut butter, and rich chocolate makes them nearly impossible to stop eating after just one.
