Tender, comforting, and effortlessly delicious
This slow cooker creamy mushroom pork tenderloin is the definition of easy comfort food. With just five simple ingredients, the pork cooks low and slow until incredibly tender, soaking up a rich, savory mushroom sauce that tastes like it simmered all day. It’s perfect for busy days, family dinners, or whenever you want a no-stress meal that still feels special.
Ingredients
1½–2 lbs pork tenderloin
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 oz) package sliced mushrooms
1 packet dry onion soup mix
½ cup water
Instructions
Place the pork tenderloin in the bottom of the slow cooker. If the tenderloin is long, gently curve it or cut it in half so it fits comfortably without forcing it.
Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix evenly over the pork, making sure all sides are lightly coated. This adds deep flavor as the pork cooks.
Scatter the sliced mushrooms over and around the pork. As they cook, they’ll release moisture and blend into the sauce.
In a bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup and water until smooth. Pour this mixture evenly over the pork and mushrooms, making sure the pork is well covered.
Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours. The pork should be very tender and easy to slice, but not falling apart.
Once cooked, check that the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). If desired, remove the pork and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing to keep it juicy.
Stir the sauce gently. If you prefer a thicker sauce, leave the lid off and cook on high for an additional 10–15 minutes until slightly reduced.
Slice the pork tenderloin and spoon the creamy mushroom sauce generously over the top before serving.
