Crispy edges, gooey centers, and bold garlic flavor
Cheesy Garlic Bread Toasts are the ultimate side dish or snack—golden and crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle, and smothered with buttery garlic and melted cheese. They’re perfect alongside pasta, soups, or served on their own for serious comfort-food vibes.
Ingredients
1 loaf French bread or baguette
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon dried parsley or Italian seasoning
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil to make cleanup easy.
Slice the bread into ¾-inch thick pieces and arrange them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Set aside.
In a bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, and dried parsley or Italian seasoning. Mix until smooth and evenly blended.
Spread the garlic butter generously over each slice of bread, covering edge to edge so every bite is flavorful.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the buttered bread slices, then finish with a light layer of Parmesan cheese for extra flavor and crispness.
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly. For extra golden tops, switch the oven to broil for the last 1–2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
Remove from the oven and let the toasts cool for 1–2 minutes before serving. The cheese will set slightly while staying gooey inside.
Tips
Use freshly grated cheese for the best melt and flavor.
Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
Serve immediately for maximum crispness and stretch.
