Crispy, melty, and packed with garlic flavor
Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are the perfect quick meal when you want something comforting and satisfying without much effort. Juicy chicken seasoned with garlic, wrapped in warm tortillas with melted cheese, then pan-toasted until golden—these wraps are simple, flavorful, and impossible to resist.
Ingredients
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1½ cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
4 large flour tortillas
Optional: chopped parsley or a dollop of sour cream for serving
Instructions
Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30–40 seconds, stirring constantly, until fragrant but not browned.
Add the cooked chicken to the skillet and season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well so the chicken is evenly coated and heated through, about 3–4 minutes. Remove from heat.
Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface. Sprinkle a layer of shredded cheese over the center of each tortilla, then divide the warm garlic chicken evenly among them. Add another small sprinkle of cheese on top to help everything stick together.
Fold the sides of each tortilla inward, then roll tightly into wraps.
Place the wraps seam-side down in a clean skillet over medium heat. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, pressing gently, until the tortillas are golden and crispy and the cheese is fully melted.
Remove from the skillet and let rest for a minute before slicing in half. Garnish with chopped parsley or serve with sour cream if desired.
Tips
Use rotisserie chicken to save time.
Keep heat at medium so the tortillas don’t burn before the cheese melts.
Add sautéed onions or spinach for extra flavor and texture.
