Ingredients
1 (13–16 oz / 370–450 g) tube refrigerated pizza dough
1 cup cooked ground beef or sausage
½ cup cooked bacon, chopped
1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
½ cup shredded Colby-Jack or Monterey Jack cheese
¼ cup chopped onion
¼ cup chopped green bell pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp salt
1 tbsp melted butter
½ tsp dried parsley (optional)
Instructions
Preheat and prep
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the filling
In a bowl, combine the cooked ground beef or sausage, bacon, shredded cheeses, onion, bell pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Assemble the bread
Roll the pizza dough out into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface. Spread the filling evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Starting from one long side, tightly roll the dough into a log and pinch the seams to seal.
Bake until golden
Place the rolled bread seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top with melted butter and sprinkle with dried parsley if using. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Slice and serve
Let the bread rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm as an appetizer or main dish.
✨ Tip: Serve with ranch dressing or honey mustard on the side for dipping.
