These Baked Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls are warm, flaky, and packed with a creamy, savory chicken filling. Easy to prepare and always a crowd-pleaser, they’re perfect for busy weeknights, potlucks, or a cozy family dinner.
Ingredients
2 cups cooked chicken, finely chopped or shredded
1 cup shredded cheddar, mozzarella, or Colby-Jack cheese
½ cup cream cheese, softened
1 (8-oz / 225 g) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 tbsp mayonnaise or sour cream
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp salt
1 tbsp melted butter
½ tsp dried parsley (optional)
Instructions
Preheat and prep
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Make the filling
In a medium bowl, combine the cooked chicken, shredded cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise or sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until creamy and well blended.
Assemble the rolls
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Spoon a generous amount of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Gently roll up, starting from the wide end and tucking the sides in slightly.
Bake until golden
Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with dried parsley if using. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the crescents are puffed and golden brown.
Serve warm
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm on their own or with a simple side salad or soup.
✨ Tip: Add cooked bacon bits, chopped green onions, or a pinch of paprika to the filling for extra flavor.
