This Mayonnaise and Parmesan–Coated Chicken is incredibly tender on the inside with a golden, flavorful crust on the outside. Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
½ cup mayonnaise
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning (or dried oregano)
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
Prepare the coating
In a medium bowl, mix the mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning until well combined.
Coat the chicken
Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Spread the mayonnaise-Parmesan mixture evenly over the top of each piece, fully coating the surface.
Bake the chicken
Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). The topping should be lightly golden.
Optional broil for color
For a crispier top, switch the oven to broil and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
Serve
Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.
