Ingredients
- 6 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Prepare the pan
Line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Set aside. - Melt the chocolate mixture
In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Stir constantly until fully melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. - Add powdered sugar
Gradually stir in the powdered sugar until the mixture thickens and becomes glossy. Mix well to avoid lumps. - Fold in cereal
Add the crispy rice cereal to the chocolate mixture. Gently fold until all the cereal is evenly coated without crushing it. - Press into the pan
Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan. Press it down evenly using a spatula or lightly greased hands. - Chill and set
Refrigerate for 1–2 hours, or until firm enough to cut cleanly. - Slice and serve
Cut into bars or squares and serve.
✨ Tip: For extra richness, drizzle melted chocolate over the top before chilling or sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt for contrast.
