Mississippi Dip

Mississippi Dip is a warm, creamy, and savory appetizer packed with cheese, tender beef, and bold seasonings. It is perfect for game days, parties, or family gatherings and is best served hot with chips, crackers, or sliced bread.

Ingredients

Cream cheese, softened 8 ounces
Sour cream 1 cup
Shredded mozzarella cheese 1 cup
Shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup
Cooked roast beef or deli roast beef, finely chopped 1 1/2 cups
Pepperoncini peppers, finely chopped 1/4 cup
Pepperoncini juice 2 tablespoons
Garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon
Onion powder 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish or pie plate.

Step 2: Make the creamy base
In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Mix well using a spoon or hand mixer until completely smooth and creamy with no lumps.

Step 3: Add cheese and seasonings
Stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until evenly combined.

Step 4: Add beef and peppers
Fold in the chopped roast beef, chopped pepperoncini peppers, and pepperoncini juice. Mix thoroughly so the meat and peppers are evenly distributed throughout the dip.

Step 5: Transfer to baking dish
Spoon the dip mixture into the prepared baking dish. Spread it out evenly using a spatula.

Step 6: Bake
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbly, and lightly golden on top.

Step 7: Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, toasted baguette slices, or fresh vegetables.

Tips
For extra heat, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes.
This dip can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated gently.
