Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (14 oz) whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 packet (1 oz) dry onion soup mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish large enough to hold the chicken in a single layer.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish, spacing them slightly apart.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the cranberry sauce and dry onion soup mix. Stir until the mixture becomes thick and evenly blended.
  4. Pour the cranberry mixture over the chicken, making sure each piece is well coated. Use a spoon to spread the sauce evenly throughout the dish.
  5. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce has thickened into a glossy glaze.
  7. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving. This helps the juices settle and the flavors deepen.
  8. Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables to soak up the extra sauce.
