Quite possibly the most delicious meal I’ve ever made — it’s unbelievably good.

Baked Bacon-Wrapped Tater Tots

A quick, easy, and crowd-pleasing appetizer. Crispy tater tots wrapped in salty bacon and baked until golden—you can’t go wrong.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 pound bacon (thin-cut works best)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (optional, for coating)
  • Toothpicks (optional, for securing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Cut each bacon slice into thirds. This size wraps perfectly around a single tater tot.
  3. Wrap each tater tot tightly with a piece of bacon.
If you want them extra secure, insert a toothpick through the center.
  4. Optional sweet coating: Roll each bacon-wrapped tot in brown sugar for a sweet-and-salty finish.
  5. Place the wrapped tots seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between them.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and caramelized.
If you want them crispier, broil for 1–2 additional minutes at the end.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
