Texas toast bread slices ā 8
Unsalted butter (softened) ā ½ cup
Garlic powder ā 1 teaspoon
Dried parsley ā 1 teaspoon
Shredded mozzarella cheese ā 1 cup
Shredded cheddar cheese ā 1 cup
Salt ā A pinch (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the garlic butter
In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with garlic powder and dried parsley. If you like extra flavor, add a pinch of salt.
Butter the bread
Spread a generous layer of the garlic butter mixture over one side of each Texas toast slice, making sure you reach all the edges.
Add the cheese
