Ingredients
For the Cream:
- 3 cans milk cream (or heavy cream substitute)
- 2 cans sweetened condensed milk
- 2 packets passion fruit juice powder (or any flavor you love—strawberry, lime, or mango work beautifully)
For the Ganache:
- 1 box milk cream (or about 200 ml heavy cream)
- 200 g dark chocolate (chopped or chips)
Instructions
- Prepare the Cream Layer:
- In a blender, pour in the 3 cans of milk cream, 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk, and 2 packets of passion fruit juice powder.
- Blend on medium speed for about 5 minutes, or until the mixture turns thick, silky, and well combined.
- Taste a small spoonful—if you prefer it tangier, add a bit more juice powder; if sweeter, a touch of condensed milk.
- Assemble the Base:
- Pour the blended cream into a large glass dish (or several small serving cups).
- Use a spatula to spread the mixture evenly, making sure the surface is smooth.
- Place it in the refrigerator while you prepare the ganache.
- Make the Ganache:
- In a heatproof bowl, add the 200 g of dark chocolate.
- Melt it using a bain-marie (double boiler) or in the microwave: heat in 30-second intervals, stirring after each one until completely melted and glossy.
- Add 1 box of milk cream to the melted chocolate.
- Stir continuously until the ganache becomes smooth, shiny, and perfectly pourable.
- Layer and Chill:
- Remove the chilled cream layer from the fridge.
- Gently pour the ganache over the top, tilting the dish slightly to help it spread evenly.
- Use a spatula to smooth the surface for a professional finish.
- Return to the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or until set and chilled through.
- Serve and Enjoy:
- Once firm, cut into squares or scoop into dessert bowls.
- Garnish with fresh passion fruit pulp, grated chocolate, or mint leaves if desired.
- Serve cold and watch everyone’s eyes light up with the first bite!
