3-Ingredient Low Carb Fries

Crispy, golden fries without the carbs

These 3-Ingredient Low Carb Fries are the perfect solution when you’re craving something crispy but want to keep things simple and carb-conscious. Made with just a few pantry staples, they bake up golden on the outside and tender inside, making them a satisfying alternative to traditional fries.

Ingredients

1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
¾ cup almond flour
1 large egg

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Allow the oven to fully heat so the fries crisp properly once baked.

Place the shredded mozzarella in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until completely melted and smooth. Let it cool slightly so it’s warm but not hot.

Add the almond flour and egg to the melted cheese. Mix thoroughly until a thick, elastic dough forms. At first it may look greasy or uneven, but continue mixing until everything is well combined.

Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out to about ¼-inch thickness. Try to keep the thickness even so the fries cook at the same rate.

Remove the top parchment layer and cut the dough into fry-shaped strips using a knife or pizza cutter.

Carefully transfer the strips to a baking surface, spacing them slightly apart to allow air circulation for crisping.

Bake for 12–15 minutes, then flip each fry gently and return to the oven for another 8–10 minutes until golden brown and crisp on both sides.

Remove from the oven and allow the fries to cool for 3–5 minutes. This helps them firm up and become crispier.

Serve warm on their own or with low-carb dipping sauces.

Tips for Extra Crispiness

Bake until deeply golden for the best texture.
Let the fries cool briefly before serving to firm up.
Season lightly after baking if desired.
